If you find an identical product at a lower advertised price from an authorized competitor in Kenya, we may match that price.

1. Our Price Match Promise

We strive to ensure you get the best value when shopping with us. Our Price Match Guarantee is a testament to our commitment to competitive pricing while providing the reliable service, genuine products, and seamless shopping experience you expect from Electronicsplace.co.ke.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Price Match

To qualify for a price match, the following conditions must be met:

• Identical Product: The product must be absolutely identical in every respect, including:
  • Brand, model, and specific version.
  • Colour and finish.
  • Condition (e.g., if our product is Brand New, the competitor’s must also be Brand New; if ours is Pre-Owned, the competitor’s must be Pre-Owned with a comparable condition rating, year, and specifications).
  • Included accessories, components, and packaging.
  • Region-specific model (e.g., not an international variant if ours is local).
• Competitor: The lower price must be from a legitimate, authorized, and established electronics retail store in Kenya.
  • This excludes: individual sellers on marketplaces (e.g., Jiji, social media groups), auction sites, liquidation sales, membership clubs, unauthorized dealers, or retailers outside Kenya.
• Price and Availability:
  • The competitor’s price must be publicly advertised and verifiable (e.g., on their active website, in a current print advertisement). It cannot be a verbal quote.
  • The item must be in stock and readily available for immediate purchase and delivery/pickup at the competitor’s location or website.
  • The competitor’s price must be valid on the day the price match request is made.
• Exclusions from Price Match: We generally do not price match:
  • Prices from marketplace sellers (e.g., individual sellers on Jumia, Kilimall, or similar platforms).
  • Typographical errors or misprints in advertisements.
  • Prices requiring membership, loyalty programs, or unique discounts (e.g., employee discounts, student discounts, government discounts, bulk pricing, financing offers).
  • Bundle offers, free offers, rebates, or mail-in offers.
  • Open-box, refurbished (unless our product is explicitly the same category and condition), clearance, liquidation, damaged, or used items, unless their condition can be precisely matched.
  • Prices offered on “flash sale” sites or limited-quantity offers.
  • Prices from stores that require a minimum quantity purchase or are part of a trade-in program.

3. How to Request a Price Match

3.1. Before Making a Purchase:

1. Gather Information: Note down the competitor’s full name, product name, model number, and the exact price.
2. Provide Proof: Have a screenshot of the competitor’s product page (showing price, availability, and date) or a link to the active product page ready.

4. Verification: Our team will verify the competitor’s price and product eligibility.
5. Price Adjustment: If approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to complete your purchase at the matched price.

3.2. After Making a Purchase (Within 7 Days):

If you purchased an item from electronicsplace.co.ke and find an identical, eligible product at a lower advertised price from an authorized competitor within 7 calendar days of your purchase date:

1. Gather Information: Note down the competitor’s full name, product name, model number, and the exact price.
2. Provide Proof: Have a screenshot of the competitor’s product page (showing price, availability, and date) or a link to the active product page ready, along with your Electronics Place Order Number.
3. Contact Us: Contact our customer service team via [email protected] or +254 111 630 930.
4. Verification: Our team will verify the competitor’s price and product eligibility.
5. Partial Refund: If approved, we will issue a partial refund for the price difference to your original payment method.

4. Our Discretion

Electronics Place reserves the right to verify the competitor’s price and availability. We reserve the right to decline any price match request at our sole discretion, particularly if we cannot verify the authenticity of the competitor’s offer or if it falls under our exclusions. Our Price Match Guarantee is not a binding offer to sell at the matched price, but a commitment to review and consider eligible requests.
