All prices on electronicsplace.co.ke are listed and processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES). All applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the displayed product prices, unless otherwise explicitly stated. The total price you will pay, including product cost, shipping fees, and any applicable taxes, will be clearly presented to you before you confirm your purchase during the checkout process. There are no hidden charges.

1. Accepted Online Payment Methods

We utilize secure and trusted payment gateways to process online payments, ensuring your financial information is protected.

• M-Pesa (Safaricom M-Pesa Till/Paybill):
  • One of the most popular mobile money services in Kenya.
  • During checkout, you will be provided with our official M-Pesa Till or Paybill number and the exact amount to pay.
  • Payments are typically confirmed instantly.
• PesaPal:
  • A leading online payment gateway in Africa, supporting various payment options.
  • Through PesaPal, you can conveniently pay using:
    • Visa Debit/Credit Cards
    • Mastercard Debit/Credit Cards
    • Local Bank Transfers (depending on bank availability and transaction limits set by PesaPal).
  • When you select PesaPal at checkout, you will be redirected to the secure PesaPal platform to complete your transaction.
• Bank Transfer (EFT/RTGS):
  • You can choose to pay directly via bank transfer.
  • Our bank details will be provided at checkout and in your order confirmation email.
  • Important: Please ensure you use your Order Number as the payment reference. Your order will only be processed once we receive confirmation of payment from our bank, which may take 1-3 business days depending on your bank and the time of transfer.

2. Cash / M-Pesa on Delivery (CoD/MoD) – Limited Availability

To offer maximum flexibility, we provide a Cash on Delivery (CoD) and M-Pesa on Delivery (MoD) option for eligible orders.

• Geographical Restriction: This option is strictly available only for deliveries within Nairobi and specific towns on the immediate outskirts of Nairobi. These include:
  • Ong’ata Rongai
  • Thika
  • Kiambu
  • Kitengela
  • Machakos
• How it Works:
  • If your delivery address is within the eligible zones, the Cash/M-Pesa on Delivery option will be presented to you at checkout.
  • Upon delivery of your items, you will pay the full order amount (inclusive of the delivery fee) directly to Electronics Place through our official payment methods, or by courier (if cash).
  • Cash on Delivery: Please ensure you have the exact amount ready, as couriers may not carry change. The courier will collect the cash on our behalf.
  • M-Pesa on Delivery: You can make the M-Pesa payment to the official Electronics Place Till/Paybill number provided by our customer service team before dispatch. The courier will verify the payment confirmation.
• Order Limits: We reserve the right to limit the value or type of orders eligible for Cash/M-Pesa on Delivery at our discretion.

3. Payment Security

• Encryption: All online transactions are protected using industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology.
• No Card Storage: We do not store your full credit/debit card details on our servers. All card processing is handled securely by our reputable third-party payment gateway partners (e.g., PesaPal), who are PCI-DSS compliant.
• M-Pesa Security: M-Pesa transactions are secured by Safaricom’s robust mobile money security protocols.
• Fraud Prevention: We employ various security measures and fraud detection systems to protect your transactions and personal information.

4. Payment Confirmation

• For online payments (M-Pesa Till/Paybill, PesaPal, Bank Transfer), you will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been successfully received and verified by us.
• For Cash/M-Pesa on Delivery, you will receive confirmation from the courier and subsequently from us once the payment is recorded.
